all hail miuccia! how does this lady get it right every season?
love the pointy fang collars with gap in the middle because front teeth with gaps were so two seasons ago and we have all moved on.

never bothered with givenchy before this season. old school house, a bit stuffy. this a/w 11/12 collection has it all, humour and play, the perfect balance of buttoned-up seriousness and sex. the placement of black organza panels and the panther motif throughout made me laugh with delight. so silly, so sexy.
this look is my absolute favourite for the season, you know, if anyone is asking.

Swap a secret for a meal, space for time, a memory for a joke, a story for a bathroom cleaning service, a cooking lesson for a date, a tailor/repair service for a d&m, an urban walking tour for a tarot reading, a work of art for a hair cut … Inspired in part by the Sol LeWitt’s non-monetary exchanges with other artists, A Stock Exchange brings together kith, kin and strangers to swap their art, ideas, time, labour, knowledge, bodies and skills.
if you are in sydney tonight, come to this. i made a ufo scene featuring my exchanger out of felt to swap for a hand illustrated film poster starring myself. the underlying theme of our exchange is portraiture. browse the other offers here.
who is this? not sure but i love the mix of textures and use of colour. autumn is just around the corner, i need a grey and mustard polka dot pleat skirt in my life.

nasomatto, italian perfumery.

this face is putting out the fire in his mouth with his tears. the hopelessness of the situation is humbling.

look! it is folk face. what is she doing in san francisco? i was surprised to find this photograph of her [or her sister]. i have one too, she sits on my bed. she is made of wool, has an embroidered face, and is cross-eyed. i am not sure what other people call her but she will always be folk face to me.
